Expats in Cars Eating Burger King

Driving in Korea

Timothy Sun

Jul 6, 2020

We try something new this time. A “Driving in Korea” episode with a guest. Timothy Sun and I talk about fast food in Korea, being an Korean adoptee and what really makes them angry, Korea’s suicide issues. Updates on movies that we haven’t watched that everyone else has. It’s quite the stream of consciousness between two dudes hunting for drive-thru fast food.

About This Episode

Tim wrote me the other day and said, “Let’s do a ‘Driving in Korea’ together.”

“How about today?”

“I want to find this new Burger King drive-thru.”

And so we launched on our quest. We talked about some current events, like a new wave of suicides in Korea. We talked about our COVID-19 movie lists we’re getting through. And of course, fast food in Korea. What are some good home grown chains?
