Special: A Mother’s Worst Nightmare — The Tale of Michael White
Banchan (Small Bites), Podcast May 21st, 2008
(Recorded Tuesday, May 20, 2008)
This is a special edition of the SeoulPodcast. We talk to Stephanie White, the mother of Michael White, who died recently under suspicious circumstances at a sauna near Daegu.

If you knew Michael and want to write a memorial to him, or you want to write a letter to the editor, here are the email addresses:
Seoul Times – seoultimes_at_gmail.com
Korea Herald – khooran_at_heraldm.com
Also write to the editors of your hometown newspapers and any media outlet you have a connection with. The Korean press tends to pay more attention when their international colleagues are looking over their shoulders.
UPDATES: A web site has gone through the trouble and posted a transcript of the interview.
A group is working hard to translate it into Korean.

This is a powerful episode. When I saw you were interviewing Stephanie I wondered how anybody could handle a subject like this, but you managed it perfectly. This episode should be mandatory listening for anybody who can understand English in this country. I only hope Stephanie somehow gets the answers she needs.
