Hey y'all. I just started listening to the show again after a 5 (or 6?) month long hiatus. I'm really enjoying the shorter format you've got going. Now, I should easily be able to get through an entire show each week.

Cheers!!

The blue house is banning foreigners for their own protection. It strikes me as ultimately ironic that Japan claims it colonized Korea for its own protection. You know, it wanted to protect Korea from western imperialism.

I'm certain the Jews of Poland were also told they were being placed into ghettos for their own protection.

So...there is indeed Habitat for Humanity in Korea. At my uni, in the foreign professor's residence, I happen to live right next door to the "Carter Room." It's the room where visiting VIPS stay. It's called the Carter room because a few years ago, Jimmy Carter stayed there on his way through Korea, building houses for HFH.
