I looked at those photos of bad tans, and I thought it was either a Photoshop prank, or before I got a good look at the eyes, some twisted Korean pun on blackface doing the rounds again.

Karl: It's more a tendency of speaking openly and honestly to the only group of people with whom South Koreans can be honest without involving alcohol, squid, dongchim, and losing consciousness.

Jennifer/Joe: Honestly, I'm just not that comfortable on the air. And all the technical nuisances involved with my current apartment makes it all that much worse. I wouldn't plan anything until after Xmas, and - I know it's really long-term - I would prefer to be back in Busan before expressing an opinion on public air. Thanks for the love!

I find it really odd that the KT's biggest native english speaking readership is E2 teachers. Many of their ads are directed at such. Instead of catering to their customers, the KT chooses to bit the hand that helps feed it. It's a bit like a labor paper in the UK turning anti-union. My suggestion is the best way to fight a paper that has decided to use its editorial to turn against its own customers is take your complaints directly to the advertisers. Let them know what KT is up to and how it taints their brand.
