The baby riots. Wow. Yeah the best way to demonize the foreigners is accuse them of doing things to babies or children. While we’re not turning their babies into Kodachrome film anymore, we’re giving HIV, booze, and hard drugs to their children.
There are a couple places in the world where westerners suddenly have to flee because a rumor gets out they’re there to steal kidneys from the local kids. The British in WWI got a lot of traction with made up stories about German huns using babies for bayonet practice in occupied Belgian. Also, the first Gulf War was a go in congress after a Kuwaiti diplomat’s daughter pretended she was a nurse and told a lie about Iraqi soldiers tossing babies out of incubators and taking them back to Iraq.
