If you open a pitcher of beer and drink a little, then freeze it and then let it defrost it actually tastes a little like veggie drink...Tastes so much better than Korean Beer.

Being on an H1B visa in the states, I can confirm there's no medical test or police check required. If you apply for greencard status that's a different matter.

The pension thing. Many people sort of treat it like it's party cash for after Korea. However, remember in many countries the pension you will theoretically collect from the government at 65 is based upon how much you've paid into it. If you're in Korea for a sizable portion of your life, you're not paying into the Canadian or American government pension. Hence, your benefits will be less down the road. Consider ear marking the pension money you get back from the Korean government for an RSP back at home. However, also consider waiting until you've worked a full year back at home to get the maximum tax benefit. If you come back half way thru the calendar year, you're going to be only earning half a year of salary in Canada or the USA and your tax will be less the first year back. So sit on it for the next calendar year.

Joe,
As an avid cigar smoker of mostly cuban cigars, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about someone else sponsoring cuban cigars to my beloved Seoul Podcast. I'm not quite sure if I'm embaressed that I didn't think of it first or what, but I will be curious to see what cigars you recieve. Please take pictures and post so I may determine an appropiate course of action.
Signed,
feeling jilted.

P.S. Where is the spell checker link? I'm an engineer and can barely spell my own name correctly.
