A few years ago the Ilyo Shinmun chose this image to accompany an article about anal sex. The author speculates that westerners enjoy anal sex more than Koreans do because Korean mens’ extra-hard penises are not well-suited for rear entry, but still sets out some basic rules for enjoying it, and of course, how to be safe while doing so.

The Robert Wicks Project
I have made a vow to myself. I want to get married. I want to start a family and raise children. I want to spend the rest of my life with someone who cares about me as much as I do them. But I’ve been dating now for 15 years and I’m tired of it. I want a family. So, if I am not in a meaningful, committed relationship by January 1st, 2009, I’m going to forgo dating all together and get a mail order bride. This group will be a place for me to chronicle my experiences and get advice and feedback. Please! humor, mockery, advice, anything!! would be appreciated.

On Dokdo:
I thought you may want to do a reverse look up by looking up Takashima and see what comes up. Also it would be cool to see if Japan does the same kind of marketing scheme for the island.
Anyways,
Why can’t they just share it? (haha)

So how much do I owe you for all the name drops?
A couple of years ago I was eating a steak at a hotel in Gwangju. It had a side of baked potato . . . topped with whipped cream. Supports the theory that people make western food here by simply looking at pictures.
Paris Baguette has some pretty good sandwiches that I get regularly. Their tuna salad sandwiches are really good, and their wraps are pretty tasty, too.
Club sandwiches are always a mess. At Joe’s Sandwich and Coffee outside of Migeum Station they had a club sandwich with the typical toppings coated completely in honey mustard. There’s a sandwich place here with a few normal toppings, but then covered in ketchup and thousand island dressing. I’ll tell you what, though the Frankie’s near Jeongja station has a solid club sandwich.

Thanks for mentioning the “Robert Wicks Project.” For those who don’t know the RWP was a facebook group I started (too lazy to actually start a blog) where I was going to detail my adventures with trying to find a committed serious relationship by January 1st, 2009. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again but expecting different results. I’ve been dating for 15 years, have had 5 serious relationships in my life, been in love and been loved back a few times, but have never been engaged. I’m 35 years old and I want to start a family with someone who is perfect for me. So I decided that I am going to give myself 4 more months to find someone through dating, and if not, then look into alternative (traditional?) ways to start a family.
Unfortunately the RWP is no longer on-line. For personal/family reasons I deleted the group. I have not changed my plans or my opinions, but I do know now why many bloggers are anonymous. One sentence out of the entire group was grossly misconstrued and reported back to the person I care the most about in the world who became very upset and refused to judge me not on what I wrote but what others had told them. So for family reasons the group was removed. Sad really, because the people who are supposed to be closest to me are the ones who I apparently have to hide the way I think and feel from. Anyway, like I said, thanks for the mention, but the “Robert Wicks Project” is no longer a public debate.
Thanks also for mentioning my Facebook group “Ansan Asia-Town.” If anyone lives in the Ansan area, southwest of Seoul, (line #4) and wants to hang out and check out the Asia town nightlife or try awesome Uzbekkistan food, join the group:

“Kamsahaseyo” means like “Why don’t you thank to me”
I think it’s a quite strange sentence
